Effective March 2nd, after nearly 40 years in our current location in the South Park neighborhood of Seattle, our corporate office will be relocated to the Gateway North Corporate Center, a short distance to the south. The move to this larger facility will resolve space constraints as well as allow our fabrication shops and logistics department to gain additional space needed to accommodate the growing demands of production.
Beyond the obvious advantages of moving into a larger facility, we are excited about the several benefits of moving into a more open, flexible floorplan. We will be able to capitalize on a flexible layout that will offer us more options for structuring internal work groups, (i.e. grouping individuals by type of work performed vs. expertise or experience, or studio teams, etc.). We expect this to improve shared knowledge and camaraderie, which in turn, will improve how teams work together, share, and make good use of resources.
