Originally built in 1920, this 72,500-seat Seattle icon is undergoing some major changes; however, great efforts are being made during these alterations to maintain the character that endears the Husky Stadium to its patrons. Construction includes the removal of the existing bleachers to make room for a more spacious seating area closer to the field, the addition of understated, premium seats and luxury boxes, and the excavation of the playing field to four feet below the current field location so that fans can have an unobscured view of the game.
