Work has begun on the geothermal ground loop system for the new KCLS Tukwila Library. The new 10,000 sf library will include a flexible common area for tutoring, studying, lectures, and performances that can evolve with the community’s needs. As the mechanical subcontractor, PSF will be installing the HVAC and plumbing systems, a geothermal ground loop system, and radiant floor piping. PSF will also be conducting startup, test & balance, and commissioning activities for the project.

  • For the past two years, the PSF Ambassador Award has given our leadership team the opportunity to acknowledge outstanding individuals or teams that go above and beyond to represent PSF’s corporate values both internally and externally. Recipients of this award, presented with a symbolic silver hard hat, are recognized for their leadership and observable examples of advocacy, collaboration, integrity, reliability and long-term partnerships.

Congratulations to Project Manager Amy Braun, and Superintendent Mark Stenson, Local 32, for their hard work and dedication to making PSF’s new corporate headquarters a reality this past Spring. “Home” remodels can be especially challenging and both Amy and Mark worked tirelessly to bring it all together. We are grateful for their efforts and look forward to future successes in our new corporate headquarters!

  • IMG_7310_editThis past year has been quite a year for our Service Division! With hard work and determination, the team has experienced substantial growth in department size, client accounts, and revenue. Last October, we reported about the ten new staff members hired to support their commitment with Alexandria Real Estate Equities to provide HVAC and facilities services to several bio-tech and life sciences properties. Since then, they have grown the division to 12 fleet vehicles, 4 office staff, 3 account executives (soon to be four), 12 field technicians (shown here this morning at their regular service tech meeting), and 10 facilities engineers. Included in this growth was the addition of a second dispatcher, as well as the promotion of Pam Champagne to Account Manager. The team has also welcomed Dawson Wallace, a summer intern assisting with the processing of paperwork for 100-150 work orders per week. Also new to the team is Lawrence Angus, Service Plumbing Superintendent, with more than 31 years of experience in the industry holding plumbing, medical gas, backflow, and electrical licenses.
